Naturalis is currently digging further in Montana at another T. Rex discovery site. Of this specimen, large parts of the enormous skull, spine and legs have already been uncovered. Since then, many more parts of the skeleton have been found. It is an adult specimen, most likely a female. The bones are well-preserved; they do not show any deformation or splintering, as is often the case with other fossilised dinosaurs.With the T. Rex, Naturalis wants to bring home the most famous and iconic carnivorous dinosaur in the world; it currently has only herbivorous dinosaurs in its collection and is seeking a carnivore to complete the picture. The all-new Naturalis museum opens in 2017 and the highlight of its new exhibition will be a Dino Hall, which will display the extensive diversity of these reptiles. T. Rex will be the main attraction.T. Rex is extremely rare and as such its importance as a public attraction is matched by its significance for science. Hopes were high that there would be more to come.Scientific importanceApart from the fact that the animal will be a public attraction for the museum, the T. Rex skeleton also has great scientific value. Some people are dying out of hunger while others are dying of obesity. Wherever I go in Kuwait everyone complains that they are obese. Both women and men go on and on describing programs that aim to cut down on the food intake; they share tricks that can suppress the appetite. Everyone has become an expert on nutrition nowadays.Some experts advise us to drink warm water in the morning; others suggest -- to add some vinegar to the water; a third group suggests drinking grapefruit first thing in the morning. The recipes on weight loss and suppressing appetite are endless. Food is the topic of discussion in Kuwait today. All talks revolve around the difficulty to resist delicious temptations.Many people sit and tell the story of a day of dieting followed by another day of indulgence. Others take a shortcut and make gastric sleeve surgery. The side effects of such operations are not yet known of course because they have not been tried for generations. Their popularity has spread in the last five years.What is my major point here? "Luke" Desmone, the Pittsburgh architect who has been working with him on the project, could be reached for comment Friday.But representatives for the Mount Washington Community Development Corp. said the developer apparently decided to revise and scale back the project because of problems in obtaining financing to pay for the hotel-condo complex."As far as I understand, it was financing.
