Richard L. Etchberger on Sept. 21, 2010.Etchberger of Hamburg was supervising a top-secret radar station on a remote mountaintop in northeastern Laos, guiding a successful bombing campaign on Hanoi, the Ho Chi Minh trail and other military targets beginning in November 1967.North Vietnamese guerillas stormed the radar base on March 11, 1968, and Etchberger saved three airmen before being killed by enemy fire.Etchberger's family invited me to witness the ceremony in the East Room of the White House. I hadn't thought about Chief Etchberger for a while. Then I saw the obituary in Thursday's paper for William H. So it's a nice break when I get to write about something on the lighter side.Sometimes I have an opportunity to write a human interest story about a person's unique interest or passion. For example, I started brewing beer at home several years ago after writing a story on the formation of a homebrewing club.Recently, I wrote about a local guy whose customized motorcycle was selected for the cover of a glossy calendar that is distributed around the world.I don't have a motorcycle, but sometimes I wish I did. It would be even more fun, I think, to custom-build a bike using junk parts.It's a little bit like home brewing in that you start with a base and make the brew your own with the special ingredients you choose to add. In brewing beer, you also tinker with brewing time and fermentation temperature, but don't get me started.- Steven HenshawreporterState's Act 32 provides fiscal windfall for ReadingI'm not one to believe that government must solve all our troubles, but here's a government solution that's working.It's Act 32, the state law requiring all municipalities in each county to use the same earned income tax collector. Here, it's the private Berks Earned Income Tax Bureau, long used by several municipalities and now by all.Act 32 also requires employers to withhold from employee paychecks whatever rate their home municipalities set. Most municipalities and school districts levy a total of 1 percent; Reading levies 3.6 percent.Still, many employers of city residents withheld only 1 percent -- it kept things simpler for the company -- requiring the employees to pay the extra amount when filing their tax returns the next year.Some did; some just didn't file.Now that the entire amount is being withheld, it not only gets paid, but gets paid sooner.Between the two changes, Reading's EIT revenue now is projected to be $750,000 higher than budgeted this year.Not a bad outcome for a government solution.- Don SpatzreporterMarketing staff garners Instagram distinction for VFWhen I clicked on a link to a report about Fortune 500 companies on Instagram, I expected to find out more about their winning strategies, not a Berks County connection.Berks has a few companies with a significant local presence on the F500 list, but none is based in Berks.However, VF Corp. posted the second-highest number of photos and videos. I'm familiar with the social media efforts of the company's outlet subsidiary, based in West Reading. And after a few emails, it became clear that VF Outlet Inc.'s marketing staff was responsible for becoming one of the top companies on Instagram.There's strategy behind the company's social media accounts, but this recognition started with something as simple as taking the time to post photos and videos regularly.People do say the first step to success is showing up. Source: The Mountaineer, Waynesville, N.迷利倉C.Oct. 27--A new hotline created by a group of local teenagers is meant to get the word out that it's better to "be a pal" than to let their peers get away with drinking alcohol and doing drugs.The hotline -- 828-356-APAL -- links directly to sheriff's office dispatch, where teens can anonymously report underage drinking and drug activity to law enforcement.The idea for the hotline began during discussions in the DWI task force, made up of local law enforcement leaders, District Attorney Mike Bonfoey, local MADD Director Ellen Pitt and more."A lot of times, kids know what is happening but they don't know who to call for help," Pitt said.Dine Plummer, a junior at Pisgah High School, recently began a local chapter of the National Association of Teen Institutes, a coalition of programs to promote positive life skills for teens. The local group of about six high schoolers that make up the chapter call themselves the OTTERs, which stands for Outstanding Teens Teaching Everyone Responsibility."Basically, we go to workshops and learn about drug and alcohol situations, teen pregnancy, bullying and how to deal with those situations. Then we take that information back to counties and put it out into the schools," Plummer said.Heidi Warren, public information officer for the Haywood County Sheriff's Office, is the advisor for the local chapter of Teen Institute. When she learned about the DWI task force idea to start a teen alcohol hotline, she knew the OTTERs would be the perfect group to put the plan into motion.The group quickly agreed to be a part of the project and immediately came up with the appropriate phone number."We just thought 'Be a Pal' kind of went with the idea," Plummer said.Teens often know about parties where they know friends will be consuming drugs and alcohol, but they are afraid to tell law enforcement or an adult for fear of losing friendships. It's a common story that sometimes ends in tragedy.The initiative for a hotline is one that is very close to the heart of Carol Womick, a Forest City mother who lost her 19-year-old son in an alcohol-related crash in May.Her son Matthew Lail was riding in a car with a friend, both of whom had been drinking, when the driver lost control. The teens were ejected from the vehicle when it flipped about five times. A high rate of speed, alcohol and failure to wear seatbelts were all factors in the accident, which killed Lail."The boys were at a high school baseball game earlier that night where many people observed that they had been drinking," Womick said. "However, no one reported this behavior to anyone. We learned all of this after the crash. We were already devastated by the loss of Matthew, but were astounded that people had observed that the boys had been drinking, yet did nothing迷你倉"Had there been a way for Lail's friends to anonymously report his activity, she believes her son could still be alive today."The idea is not to encourage kids to snitch on one another, but if they are concerned about the safety and well-being of their friends, they can call this number," Warren said.The OTTERs are promoting the hotline by passing out posters and buttons at the high schools and middle schools in the county."People don't want to tell on their friends, but I'd like everybody to think about it as they are saving their friends from a bad situation," Plummer said.Maggie Valley Police Chief Scott Sutton, one of the local supporters of the hotline, said just because somebody calls in to the hotline doesn't necessarily mean law enforcement action will be taken. Sometimes counseling or other resources might be more appropriate.Though it's geared toward teens, the phone number can be used by anyone who might want to call with an anonymous tip."It's not just a teenage hotline," Sutton said. "You could have a teacher that didn't want to get involved but wanted somewhere to take that concern."Pitt hopes that this initiative, which is being supported by the local ABC board and MADD, will prompt similar hotlines in counties across the state."In the end, if kids know who to call, it could save lives," Pitt said.The FactsUnderage drinking is not a new problem -- every year about 5,000 teens die as a result of alcohol, most commonly in motor vehicle crashes, according to the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIH).Alcohol is the most widely used substance of abuse among youth nationwide, more than cigarettes or marijuana. By age 15, more than 50 percent of teens have had at least one drink. By age 18, that number increases to 70 percent.According to the NIH, young people reach for the bottle as a result of peer pressure, increased independence or stress. In addition, many teens have easy access to alcohol. A recent study showed 93.4 percent of adolescents ages 12 to 14 who drank alcohol in the past month got it for free through family members, older friends or at home.Because statistics show that teens aren't going to quit drinking alcohol altogether, the new hotline will be there to perhaps prevent accidents from happening, said Haywood County Sheriff Greg Christopher."I believe that this is just another tool for us to use to curb the underage drinking issues that we face," Christopher said. HiFi音響一直是音樂發燒友口中津津樂道的話題，迷利倉所謂H iF i，英文原詞是H igh F idelity，意為高保真，也就是與原來的聲音高度相似的重放聲音。有許多“金耳朵”的發燒友為了追求心中的完美音質而紛紛購置H iF i音響。同時，也有人對HiFi音響有一些疑問，HiFi真的如它所說，高保真無失真嗎？手機信號會不會成為其音質的殺手？H iF i領域所說的“相位”又是什麼？聽聽專家的解釋。說法A手機信號是H IFI音質的無形殺手在微博上，@吳川天籟琴行稱，H IFI音箱系統對各種干擾都很敏感，手機信號更是無形中的音質殺手：“很多人折騰半天總覺得音質時好時壞，折騰各種器材，換各種位置，換各種線材。卻忘了手機這個隨身無線射頻對音質的干擾！親，音質覺得不好的時候請檢查下周圍的射頻干擾，首先把手機拿出房間吧！”真相手機遠離H IF I設備3米外基本不會產生干擾射頻是一種高頻交流電，射頻干擾就是電磁波所帶來的干擾，如兩個頻率相差不多的電磁波會同時被接收機接收造成干擾。有網友說，自己的音響在播放時，把手機拿近了會發現有干擾，有跳碟、停止播放的現象。中國音響網網站運營總監韓鐨證實了手機會對H iFi音響造成干擾的說法，“這裡涉及到一個理論，叫調制解調。手機內部的信號調制與發射電路會向空間輻射出信號，這個信號雖說微弱，但是H IFI音響的解碼或前級這些音源，會被放大設備所感應接收，接收後解調出來的一部分信號落入音頻頻段，跟我們聽到的音樂混合在一起，造成干擾。那麼怎樣避免呢，就是儘量把手機遠離H IFI設備即可，一般來說，3米外基本不會有所影響了。”說法B高保真是使聲音高度相似的重放網絡上流傳一個說法：“H IFI的本意就是H IG H - FID E LIT Y，就是高保真，也就是說，盡可能地減小失真，使其與原來的聲音高度相似地重放聲音。”真相民用H IF I的效果在於提高錄音的可聽度評價一個音響系統或設備是否符合高保真要求，一般應採用主觀聽音評價和客觀指標測試相結合的方式來進行，並以客觀測試指標為主要依據。通常用于評測音響系統或設備的主要技術指標有：頻率響應、信噪比、動態範圍、失真度、瞬態響應 、立體聲分離度、立體聲平衡度。那麼，音響系統的“失真”，會影響聽�的聽覺感受嗎？“從失真的角度，我們舉個例子，從音色上來說，鋼琴的諧波很多，但你不能說鋼琴失真高難聽，這裡的失真反而是組成鋼琴聲音好聽的一個部分。但是作為電子設備，還是低失真的比較好。不過低失真是指幾個方面，而不是單指諧波失真要低。諧波失真低、互調失真高，它還是失真高。我們要從辯證的角度來看‘失真’。諧波失真夠低、綜合比較好，也就可以了，也不是一定要追求極限。而且，失真其實也和聽感有關係，我們有時也會為了調整聽感來調失真。”任職于環球音樂公司A & R部門的程晹在果殼網上談到，平常聽音樂的時候，我們聽的是音染，而不是“高保真”：“真正的高迷你倉真的要求，只有在錄音棚里的器材上能夠實現。固然不同的錄音棚器材也有所謂聲音不同的說法，但是這種區別只有經過訓練的專業人員才聽的出來。民用H iFi設備的目的，不是為了把錄音最為真實的表現出來，而是根據細分聽�的要求，讓錄音更有可聽度，因此才有各種性格的器材，才有英國聲、丹麥聲，才有不同的線材出來不同的聲音。這樣出來的經過修飾的聲音到了一個級別以上就沒有好壞之分，只有個人喜好問題。”說法C相位很玄乎，但是也很重要“在音響H IFI領域，之前有個被炒的很火的概念，就是相位。”在果殼用戶“M aterial”看來，相位看似很玄乎，但是他感覺這些都是扯淡。“不過畢竟不是專業搞電的還是不能確定到底對不對。請問各位高手有知道內幕的麼？”真相左右聲道H IF I無相位差即可準確判斷聲源新浪網友“加卑厄爾”在他的博客上澄清了人們的一些錯誤理解：“‘相位’說穿了，就是描述一個波的即時狀態的一個物理量而已，其單位是角度。波完整的振蕩一遍就是360度，如果振蕩到波峰，那麼相位就是90度。如果振蕩到波谷，那麼相位就是270度。”人在定位聲源方位角的時候，是根據左右耳朵的時間差，即神經系統通過對比同一個音源到達兩耳之間的時間差以及強度差，來判斷出聲源在水平方向上的位置。因此，“對於左右聲道的H IF I系統來說，左右聲道的相位差就變得非常重要了。”“加卑厄爾”說，“比如，本來一個10K H Z的聲音，同時來自無任何相位差的左右兩個箱子，那麼你站在箱子的正中間，可以感覺得到，你左右耳朵聽到的聲音是無相位差的，聲音來自正前方。但是，如果左右箱子本身存在相位差，那麼就麻煩了。此時你站在了箱子的正中間，聽起來左右耳朵的聲音音量(簡稱聲壓)是一樣的，但是就是存在相位差，使得你的耳朵覺得，這個聲音並不是來自正前方，而是偏離到某個角度的。如果兩個箱子存在相位差，最大的感覺就是：這個箱子系統的聲場定位是混亂的。不過一般而言，如果雙聲道的公房電路設計的對稱性好，左右聲道的線材一致性高，箱子的聲學一致性好，那麼這個雙聲道箱子系統的相位問題不會太嚴重。”討論發燒器材是否真的有用？神經線、發燒線、膽機、石機、角釘……一系列琳琅滿目的發燒術語經常在發燒友論壇上出現，他們精益求精，力求找到心目中最完美、無瑕疵、聽感最好的發燒器材，發燒器材是玄學抑或是科學？而發燒器材又真的有用嗎？韓鐨認為，發燒器材肯定有用。有特定的儀器可以來檢測線材，但從現實來說，這些儀器是十分昂貴的，發燒友一般不易接觸到。到底是哪方面會產生影響？這個我們可以介紹一下：在電阻、電容、感抗、電抗等等方面。如果你聽說兩根線參數測出來一樣，其實是測得不夠詳細，我們舉個例子，同一個人用同樣的材料焊接出兩條線，都會有微小差異，“微小”只是很低的程度，都能聽沒問題。但如果是第二個人來做，可能差異就大了，這時我們人耳就容易聽出區別。採寫：南都記者 宋金緒實習生 李佩儀南都製圖：宋小偉自存倉

Always. Buried in the millions of lines of code written for such systems are thousands of chances to make a mistake, essentially typos.That's why the roll-out of most new software programs includes a beta testing period, a time when the software is released but users are warned they'll probably encounter glitches. During that testing period the bulk of the glitches are detected and fixed.The big roll-outOn Labor Day weekend, the EDD rolled out its new software to handle unemployment insurance claims. Immediately there were problems. Some 80,000 claims were stalled, the EDD said. State workers labored around the clock to hand-process the claims, the agency said. Internal emails tell a different story. Some 300,000 claims were affected.This system was developed by the New York firm Deloitte Consulting, one of the state's biggest contractors but also a firm with a history of delivering projects over budget and with problems.In 2003, the state estimated it would cost $58 million to upgrade its 30-year-old unemployment benefits system. By 2010, when Deloitte got the contract, the price had jumped by $30 million. Now the state has spent $110 million.And it's not just in California. Deloitte's upgrades to unemployment software in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Florida have been problematic, too.Repeated mistakeWhy do we keep going back to the same company?Deloitte LLP is one of the nation's big four accounting firms. It has evolved into a major player i儲存 management and information technology consulting, providing tech services to, among other government agencies, the IRS.But it also was one of the big contractors deploying the Affordable Care Act, the roll-out of which has been a software disaster.So why does the state keep going back to Deloitte? Follow the money.In the past two years, according to the Los Angeles Times, Deloitte has spent more on lobbying California lawmakers that any competing firm it its field. And it's paid off. Over the past decade the firm has done more than $540 million in tech work for the state.Demand performanceIt's time to demand that Deloitte perform, but it's also time to demand that state officials working with firms like Deloitte do their jobs. Why, for example, did the state enter into a contract for the EDD software years ago but only on Aug. 30 sign a contract amendment awarding the company another $3.5 million for five months of maintenance and operations costs? Why wasn't maintenance and operations part of the original contract negotiations when, presumably, the state had a stronger bargaining position?Deloitte isn't answering many questions these days, but likely will have a chance. Legislative hearings are planned in Massachusetts this week and in the weeks ahead in California.Deloitte welcomes the "opportunity to have a dialogue with legislators about the launch of this new system," company spokeswoman Courtney Flaherty said in an email to the Times. It was quite a weekend for Brown.On Saturday, Darrell Wallace Jr. won the NASCAR Nationwide race in Martinsville, Va., the first African-American to take a NASCAR touring series checkered flag since Wendell Scott did it 60 years ago. 本欄撰文 記者劉功虎發行了125年的老牌紙媒英國《金融時報》正面臨新媒體時代的重大轉型。本月初，mini storage《金融時報》總編萊昂內爾·巴博爾給員工寫了一封長信，公佈了該報改革的細則。明年上半年，該報將把全球五個不同版本（美國版、歐洲版、英國版、中東版和亞洲版）縮減至一個，同時加強網絡內容的實時更新。終結晚間發稿模式巴博爾在信中說：“上世紀70年代式的運作模式——整個晚上對不同版本做細微修改的做法已死。在未來，我們的印刷製品將脫胎于互聯網的內容，而非相反。”他提出，《金融時報》將改變傳統紙媒深夜集中作業的方式。《金融時報》的發稿記者，今後將在網絡閱覽高峰時段發表文章，傳統的截稿時間將不復存在，全天候運作將成報業常態。記者的採訪作品往往先在網上發表，第二天的紙版選取精華和深度報道刊登。分工方面，《金融時報》網絡平台的記者將專注于突發新聞，紙媒記者則負責為網站上最受歡迎的新聞提供深度分析與報道。采編團隊將從“快速對新聞作出反應”向“探尋已有新聞的深層意義”轉變。不變的是，“采編人員仍將忠實地追求具有原創性及調查性的新聞。”媒體傳播介質巨變之後，新聞生產模式全方位改變。巴博爾寫道：“我們要做的不只是將新聞內容從線下搬至線上，而是如何呈現在線新聞產品，以及何時呈現。”為此《金融時報》將對網站進行重新編排、設計，以及對用戶體驗與用戶數據進行深究。新的設計將反映當代受�的新聞口味和閱讀習慣。巴博爾明確表示，《金融時報》將更加注重在線新聞產品的投入，包括產品的設計、新聞數據的可視化等。他確信這種聚焦網絡熱點的改革將加強紙質報紙的質量，使之能夠媲美于雜誌。在數字閱讀時代，他認為此舉順應了現代讀者的閱讀習慣，並強調紙媒仍將是他們多媒體平台的重要組成部分。采編隊伍將“瘦身”在巴博爾擔任總編的7年間，《金融時報》實際已多次嘗試了“數字化先行”的變革。根據《金融時報》中文網公佈的信息顯示，該報2012年擁有電子和紙質付費用戶超過60萬；到今年4月，英國發行量審計局認證的數據是：該報電子版付費訂閱用戶達32.8萬位，印刷版的發行量為26.6萬份。至今年8月，數據更新顯示，紙質版售量已降至23.6萬份。英國牛津大學路透新聞研究所新聞研究總監羅伊德預估，從全球不同地區印刷和搬運中省下的成本，可用于新聞製作的開銷，“這筆開銷至少占《金融時報》報紙生產固定成本的一半”。業內人士猜測，自從實現付費訂閱數字版之後，《金融時報》的經營狀況大為改善，巴博爾的改革計劃正是向內“挖潛”思路的延續。應數字轉型的需要，原來維持報刊出版的龐大隊伍將逐步裁撤瘦身。據瞭解，《金融時報》將向職員提供買斷協議，以節省160萬英鎊成本，同時還將招聘10名網絡新員工。該報約有35名經理級員工將面臨接受買斷協議（類似買斷工齡後的遣散費），否則將直接裁員。目前，中國讀者登錄《金融時報》英文網頁可選擇兩種付費閱讀方式，高端閱讀每周需要8.59美元（約合52元人民幣），標準閱讀每周6.25美元（約合38元人民幣）。後者只享受主頁閱讀、移動閱讀、5年金融新聞信息查詢服務3項內容，前者則多出3項：Lex專欄、電子報和獨家的“編輯來信”。登錄中文網則完全免費，部分文章需要註冊才能閱讀。傳媒研究專家：為國內媒體提供了思路記者採訪了數位國內傳播學相關專家，他們認為，《金融時報》為國內媒體轉型提供了思路和方向。汕頭大學長江新聞與傳播學院教授範東升認為，《金融時報》的做法有兩個亮點，一是一改以前推出不同地區版的做法，將美國版、歐洲版、英國版迷你倉中東版和亞洲版壓縮至一個“國際版”。二是創新了經營模式，利用網絡數據挖掘擴大數字用戶，由傳統媒體進化成新媒體。他指出，《金融時報》此舉，本質上就是壓縮印刷版及其成本，包括印刷、搬運和編輯成本，有效提高報紙信息傳遞速度，降低信息傳播成本。“報紙以前分印不同地區版，目的是吸引不同地區的廣告，服務不同地區的讀者，但也增加了不少成本。這是國際報業上世紀70年代以來的趨勢。那時很新潮，但現在就有些落伍了，這個趨勢是時候終止了”。他注意到，《金融時報》目前的數字訂戶已經超過紙版訂戶10萬，“別小看這個數字，這是可喜的兆頭，潛藏了豐富的信息，對報紙改革者是一個很大的鼓舞”。南京大學新聞與傳播學院副教授巢乃鵬分析認為，巴博爾的信中沒有明說是否就此取消紙質報出版，但給出了網絡優先的明確信號，“目前看來，他們距離純數字化媒體已只差一步之遙”。巢乃鵬認為，紙媒向數字媒體轉型，為傳統報人施展拳腳提供了開闊的想象空間，“以《金融時報》大力推動的媒介信息可視化為例，交互的可視化網頁比靜態網頁的平均閱讀時間會高出4到6倍。如果這一業務最終成型和成功，報人都可以做電視和視頻了，那就是真正的全媒體了”。鏈接他山之石互聯網等新興媒體的崛起，使新聞從採集、製作、發佈到接收終端都發生了革命性變化。傳統媒體因此面臨困境。許多傳統媒體積極創新，探索轉型之路。《基督教科學箴言報》：紙質周報+電郵版日報1908年創刊，其報道曾七獲普利策新聞獎，在美國乃至世界頗有知名度。受網絡新聞衝擊，其銷量大幅下滑，遭遇資金短缺。自2009年4月起，停止出版紙質日報，向用戶提供紙質版周報和每日電子郵件版報紙，成為美國首家以網絡版替代紙質版日報的全國發行報紙。《西雅圖郵報》：大幅縮減內容創刊于1863年。受金融危機影響，2009年3月17日出版最後一期報紙後，《西雅圖郵報》轉變成完全的電子報。數字化後，《西雅圖郵報》的內容大幅縮減，與博客和其他新聞媒體的鏈接成為主要消息來源。從業人員也由181人變成20余人。《新聞周刊》：收取訂閱費2012年最後一天，《新聞周刊》海外版、也是其最後一期紙質版出刊。這份美國三大時事周刊之一面世80年，其紙質版本除美國本土版外，還同步出版日、韓、波蘭、俄、西、阿拉伯等多種語言版本，以及一份英語的海外版。其電子版本則稱作《全球新聞周刊》，作為全球惟一版本面向讀者，並收取訂閱費。全數字版雜誌基於用戶訂購的模式，通過平板電腦和網頁的電子閱讀工具發佈。英國BBC：跨媒體製作和共享不只報紙求變，BBC（英國廣播公司）在向新媒體轉型方面做得很成功，有些經驗值得紙媒學習。BBC在英國有兩個電視頻道、5個全國性的廣播電台，還有30多個地方電台，提供報刊、書籍出版、英語教學、交響樂和互聯網服務。在資源整合過程中，BBC採取了一些新做法，所有一線記者發現和製作新聞產品，首先想到的是給BBC在線網絡提供信息和圖片，其次才是電視和廣播。BBC很在意受�的參與度、感受和意見。比如設立新的社區內容時，他們會與網民、居民充分交流，後者的意見會被及時採納。這種辦節目的方式，受�不再是單一的、等候被灌輸的“靜物”，而是費用的提供者和合作伙伴。早在2005年，BBC就開始提出一種跨平台的傳播戰略，吸引人們在任何地點、任何時候，通過MP3隨身聽、互動電視和網絡來收聽收看自己製作的內容。BBC擁有目前世界一流的網站，並建立了跨媒體的節目製作和共享機制。BBC大多數記者跟紙媒聯繫密切，上鏡的記者經常同時出現在電視和網站上。文件倉

香港文匯報訊（記者 李茜婷 北京報道）遊客熙攘的北京天安門城樓旁昨日發生罕見重大車禍事故，迷你倉最平一輛沿長安東街便道疾駛的吉普車昨日中午突然撞向城樓外金水橋護欄後起火。官方通報稱，事件共導致5人死亡、38人受傷，其中肇事車內3人死亡，另外兩名死者中，一人是菲律賓女遊客，另一人是廣東遊客，而傷者中有3名菲律賓遊客，1名日本男遊客。但官方並未透露肇事車上的3名死者身份。事件發生後，中央領導和公安部官員趕抵現場指揮處置。至下午，城樓一帶已解除封鎖，恢復正常，但當局至午夜仍未公布事故原因。據消息靈通人士透露，不排除是「東突獨」恐怖分子所為，但截至發稿前未獲官方證實。事發於昨日中午12時許，不少在天安門廣場一帶的遊客突然聽到一聲巨響，然後看到城樓附近金水橋旁冒出一股衝天濃煙，一輛汽車撞到城樓的金水橋旁華表後�火燃燒，地點幾乎是在天安門城樓的正門。而從網民發出的微博相片上看，事件發生後，現場有不少傷者倒臥在地上，警察則在場救人。撞金水橋護欄後起火　北京警方兩小時後在其官方微博通報稱，28日中午12時05分，一輛吉普車由南池子南口轉入長安街便道，由東向西行駛撞向天安門金水橋護欄後起火，行駛過程中造成多名中外遊客及執勤民警受傷。　事發後，長安街東西向實行臨時交通管制，北京地鐵1號線迷你倉安門東站也採取臨時封站措施，1號線各次列車在天安門東站通過不停車，2號線通往天安門廣場的出口亦被臨時封閉。　在晚上7時許，北京警方再次通報事件細節，指該事件造成5人死亡，38人受傷，其中肇事車內3人死亡，另有2名遊客死亡，其中1名為菲律賓籍女遊客，另外1名為廣東省男遊客。38名受傷人員中包括3名菲律賓籍遊客（2女1男）及1名日本籍男遊客。傷者送往三家醫院搶救　據北京市急救中心稱，事件發生後急救中心共調派6輛救護車前往，將傷者送至天安門附近的北京醫院、協和醫院、同仁醫院等大型醫院。官方表示，為全力救治傷員，相關醫院迅速組織專家緊急會診，根據傷者傷情分別採取手術、包紮及其他緊急治療措施。受傷人員的救治在全力進行當中。當日下午，北京市委、市政府領導先後前往醫院指導救治工作並看望慰問傷者。要求查真相保首都安穩　據悉，北京市公安、應急、衛生等相關部門立即啟動應急預案，開展工作並組織施救，受傷人員已被全部送往附近醫院救治。事件發生後，中央領導和公安部、北京市委市政府領導先後趕到現場指揮處置工作，要求全力以赴搶救傷者，迅速查明真相，採取有力措施，確保首都安全穩定。　在外交部昨日舉行的例行新聞發布會上，有記者問該宗事件是否是恐怖襲擊，發言人華春瑩表示具體情況不清楚，不予評論。儲存
