Source: The Star, Shelby, N.迷你倉C.Jan. 14--Two people were arrested this morning and a third is wanted by police after county authorities say they stole a van, then used it to ram a convenience store on Washburn Switch Road to steal an ATM there.Octavius Parks, of Belmont, and Khadijah Banks, of Gastonia, are both being held under $500,000 secure bonds and are charged with larceny of a motor vehicle, breaking and entering and possession of stolen goods.Sheriff Alan Norman said the third person involved is Anton Smith, whose last known address was Bessemer City."We're actively working on the case now," Norman said. "One is at large on foot. We're doing an active search for them."Norman said the van was stolen from Ambassador Baptist College shortly after 2 a.m. this morning."The culprits went to the Needmore Store on Washburn Switch Road by PPG, where they rammed the van through the front of the store," he said. "Once they had successfull自存倉 made entry into the storefront with the van, they removed an ATM from the store."Sheriff's office deputies were given a vehicle description by citizens and, a short time later, Deputy Steve Hunt passed the van in the Polkville area and started a vehicle stop, Norman said.Parks and Banks were in a car behind the van, and they were arrested by deputies, he said."The driver of the van fled on foot and as of right now, we're actively looking for the third individual," said Norman.Smith is wanted for the same three charges as Parks and Banks, as well as an obstruction of justice charge from Gaston County."This case will be an ongoing investigation," Norman said.
