Source: Richmond Times-Dispatch, Va.儲存倉Oct. 03--HENRICO -- With charges mounting against an armed robbery suspect and no likely chance of bond, a Henrico County Circuit judge this morning continued until January a hearing that could result in a lengthy prison sentence for the teen for failing to meet terms of probation on earlier convictions."He's just been served with 31 new charges," defense lawyer Brice Lambert said in Henrico Circuit Court, agreeing with a prosecutor that there was no immediate need to proceed in a hearing that had been set earlier this summer for Shatik Unique Jackson, 19.Circuit Judge Catherine C. Hammond, who has heard earlier cases against Jackson, agreed to delay the hearing.Jackson, who is affiliated with the Fly Nation gang, is a suspect with at least five others in a brazen string of armed robberies of fast-food restaurants in the Richmond area. He appeared in court this morning in Henrico and has been held in Chesterfield since his arrest there last week shortly after the robbery of a McDonald's Restaurant in Dinwiddie.Jackson, formerly of North Chesterfield and more迷你倉最平recently living in the 300 block of Shetland Court in eastern Henrico, was sentenced last year to 10 years in prison on a gang-related assault conviction in Henrico with all but seven months suspended. His subsequent conviction for petty larceny in July this year set in motion efforts to issue a so-called show-cause order, which could result in imposition of the suspended portion of the sentence last year.The process got underway amid a series of armed robberies of McDonalds and other fast-food restaurants in Henrico, Chesterfield, New Kent and Dinwiddie counties.
