Source: Richmond Times-Dispatch, Va.儲存倉Aug. 01--Dish Network subscribers in the Richmond area lost their access to NBC affiliate WWBT-Channel 12 late Wednesday because Dish Network and WWBT owner Raycom Media could not reach an agreement on a new contract.The two companies had been negotiating a new retransmission contract for several months but were not able to reach an agreement by the deadline Wednesday night.Dish customers also lost access to WUPV-Channel 65, DISH said in a statement.The Colorado-based company said Raycom blocked subscribers' access "unless Dish agrees to pay a massive price increase.""Dish has offered to pay the same rates as its primary competitors for the same programming, but Raycom still refuses to sign a contract," the company said.In a video posted on the WWBT website, Kym Grinnage, the station's vice president and general manager, apologized to local Dish network subscribers "for the inconvenience of not being able to watch us.""You 迷你倉沙田now you have choices," Grinnage said to viewers.
